The Dental Practitioner Graduate Program is open to all graduates from the disciplines of oral health and dentistry.
As a first year graduate, you will be mentored as you begin your first year of employment in the oral health sector. You will have access to a range of clinical development programs to develop and enhance your clinical practice. Working in the public sector will provide you with a range of clinical cases to hone your skills and allow you to access a structured mentoring program to support your professional growth.

Dental Practitioner Graduate Program benefits

Submissions open April 2012 for a July 2012 commencement
Acceptance onto the Dental Practitioner Graduate Program is for a fixed term of no more than 12 months.The Dental Practitioner Graduate Program commences early February and July each year. Short-listed applicants will be required to attend an interview in Melbourne as part of the recruitment process, the date to be advised by Dental Health Services Victoria.
For graduates currently employed, Manager approval is required.
Applications must be accompanied by:
- Covering letter outlining why you would benefit from the Dental Practitioner Graduate Program
- Curriculum Vitae
- Current university examination results
- Two clinical referees
- Manager approval if currently employed at a public dental clinic
Qualifications recognised by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
