Disability resource toolkit

This toolkit has been created to assist oral health services and disability services in working together to improve the oral health of people with intellectual disabilities living in residential services. Radiation Protection in Dentistry

The Code of Practice and Safety Guide for Radiation Protection in Dentistry establishes the responsibilities of those involved in dental radiology, and lays down requirements for equipment and siting, image receptors and film processing, and procedures to minimise exposure to ionizing radiation. The Safety Guide provides advisory and explanatory material that will assist dentists, dental auxiliaries and staff in meeting the requirements of the Code.
