
The Defenders of the Tooth – Munch girl, Brush boy and Water boy are Dental Health Services Victoria’s superheros who work hard to brighten the smiles of Victorian children. The defenders have been designed to engage children to learn about good oral health. They are centred on the three key messages Eat well, Drink well and Clean well.

Munch girl – Eat well“Powered by healthy food and calcium I help stop tooth decay.”
Enjoy a wide variety of nutritious foods an try not to eat too much sugar. If you’re going to snack, make it healthy! |  |
Water boy – Drink well“Powered by tap water and milk, I work hard to help prevent acid attacking teeth.”
Drink plenty of tap water. Drink plain milk. Avoid sugary drinks! |  |
Brush boy – Clean well“Powered by my careful brushing action, I help protect teeth against plaque and decay.” Brush thoroughly and carefully at least twice a day. Make brushing a regular habit. Adults should help to brush if children are less than seven! |  |
