Applications for the Research and Innovation Grants program for 2011 are now being accepted.
The Research and Innovation Grants program initiative provides opportunity for DHSV staff, and staff of public oral health services funded by DHSV, to pursue and develop their ideas for innovation. These grants will play a vital role in seeding innovation, and supporting development of high quality proposals, capable of attracting external funding.
Please note: Collaborations must include at least one investigator who is a staff member of the DHSV or an oral health service funded by DHSV. Proposed research should demonstrate a clear link with DHSV strategic objectives for public oral health in Victoria.
There are three categories of grants available:
- Strategic research project grants
- Innovation awards
- Seed grants (open to DHSV staff members only)

Note: For projects currently in progress, researchers are required to submit an annual progress report to the Research Advisory Panel by March 2011.
