Orientation Training Course (OTC)
Short courses to suit all professional needs
OTC (operating since 1992) is based at the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne (RDHM), which works in partnership with the University of Melbourne, RMIT University and La Trobe University.
OTC provides a wide variety of courses to overseas trained Dentists and Dental Therapists preparing to sit Australian Dental Council (ADC) examination or New Zealand Dentist Registration Examination (NZDREX) / NDEB
The following courses are offered:
ADC oriented courses:
▫ 5-week Comprehensive Dentistry courses
▫ 3-week Restorative Dentistry
▫ Dental Therapy course
▫ Additional experience sessions-Radiography
▫ OTC MOCK Exams

Individually Tailored Courses
These courses are only for oral health practitioners (dentists, dental hygienists and therapists) already registered or eligible for registration with Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
Education programs are provided for:
▫ General dentists requiring additional training as per Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
▫ Dentists requiring development of skills in a specific area of practice
▫ Dentists registered or eligible for registration with Dental Board of Australia who wish to return to workforce
