Resources for disability workers

Disability support workers

People with disabilities experience more oral health problems than people without disabilities, including higher levels of oral disease and less natural teeth. These oral health problems are preventable. The resources below have been developed for disability support workers, providing tips and advice on how to better support the oral health of people with a disability.

Healthy Choices for Healthy Mouths videos

Healthy choices for healthy mouths

Victorian of the Year 2009 and AFL legend, Ron Barassi, shows how to look after oral health by following four simple rules: eat well, drink well, clean well and stay well.
