Homebound patient services (Domiciliary)

The domiciliary oral health service is available to anyone who is house bound making it difficult or unsafe for them to travel to the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne.

In particular, aged-care patients for whom travel to the hospital would pose significant challenges.

How do I apply?

An application form is to be completed by the patient (or carer) and by the patient’s medical practitioner.

Send the application form to the Patient Services Centre. A staff member will contact you to make an appointment for your oral health examination. Appointments are arranged according to the urgency of treatment needed and geographical location.
