Delivering smiles to students

Our Smile Squad team have been busy finding ways to share the importance of good oral health with kids across Victoria. Find out what they've been up to lately.
Celebrating Smile Squad at Keilor Primary School
On Thursday 24 April Minister for Health Mary-Anne Thomas and Deputy Premier and Minister for Education Ben Carroll made a special visit to Keilor Primary School to meet the amazing cohealth Smile Squad team and the students who visit them.
Smile Squad has delivered free dental care at Keilor Primary since 2021, providing more than 750 appointments to more than 300 consenting students.
It's never easy to fit everything into our busy lives but Smile Squad makes it easier by offering students free dental care on site at school, during school hours. Smile Squad not only provides free, high-quality care but supports kids to eat well, drink well and clean well - for life.
Smile Squad’s big day out at Melbourne Zoo
Smile Squad couldn't have picked a better day than Wednesday 16 April for a visit to Melbourne Zoo.
The zoo was abuzz as more than 160 kids had a free oral health check in our Smile Squad vans - plus endless fun with oral health themed games and activities with our Population Health team.
We handed out hundreds of oral health packs and met lots of wonderful families in Carousel Park.
A massive thanks to the Holstep Health Smile Squad team for joining us to deliver this important service!
We’re so proud of our partnership with Zoos Victoria. Events like this help us reach even more Victorian school kids through Smile Squad.
