Appointed in February 2011, Deborah has substantial experience in managing major public healthcare organisations. She has held CEO positions at Calvary Health Care and Yarra City Council as well as senior executive positions at Mercy Health and St Vincent''s Health. Deborah was Director of The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne from 1995-1999 and previously held senior positions at the South Australian Dental Service.
Mark Sullivan - Chief Operating Officer
Mark is responsible for purchasing services and administering funding for statewide public oral health services. He has particular expertise in project management, continuous improvement and customer service. He has held senior executive positions in regional and specialist hospitals.
Nicholas Russell - Chief Finance Officer
Nick is responsible for the finance and corporate services functions at DHSV. He has over 10 years’ experience in both the public and private health sectors in a variety of senior management roles. He has a strong focus on performance, efficiency and staff management. Nick has held senior positions at Western Health, St. John of God Health Choices, St John of God Health Care and the CraigCare Group.
Nuno Goncalves - Chief Information Officer
Nuno has over 10 years leadership experience in Health Information Technology, and over 20 years of ICT experience across numerous industries. He has held the following positions – CTO at Peter Mac, CIO at the Eye and Ear Hospital and the Senior Director of ICT for HSQ at Queensland Health.
Melanie van Altena – Executive Director, The Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne
Melanie is responsible for the Royal Dental Hospital of Melbourne. She has significant senior management experience in the healthcare and personal injury insurance sectors. Melanie holds qualifications in physiotherapy and business administration and has particular expertise in the areas of leadership and management, project management and continuous improvement. .
Louise Palmer – Chief Experience Officer
Louise has significant senior and executive management experience, most recently in the tertiary education sector. She has particular expertise in the areas of leadership and management, strategy and culture, workforce learning and development, organisational design and innovation, and Lean people systems and processes.
Dr Martin Hall – Chief Oral Health Advisor
Martin has over 30 years' experience as a dentist working to improve the oral health of vulnerable communities both in Australia and overseas. He previously held positions of Senior Dentist and General Manager Clinical and Oral Health Services at North Richmond Community Health. He is also currently Honorary Fellow at The University of Melbourne's Faculty of Medicine, Dentistry and Health Sciences and Director of Kose Nehan - Oral Health Project in East Timor.
Susan McKee RN - Executive Director, Value Based Healthcare Implementation (ED VBHC).
Sue is a Registered Nurse with over 35yrs in the health sector. During this time she has worked across the healthcare sector with a range of organisations including public, not-for-profit, privately owned and the charitable sector. Her roles have included both clinical and organizational leadership as a Nursing Director, Chief Operating Officer and Chief Executive.
Sue is a strategic, values-driven executive, with a proven ability to lead organisations through complex change and challenging external environments. She is committed to leading organisations that provides services that enhance the life of its customers that is true to its purpose and values its people.
She holds a Masters of Business Administration from Queensland University of Technology, a degree in Applied Science in Human Movement Studies from the University of Queensland and a Post Graduate Certificate in Leadership and Catholic Culture from the Australian Catholic University. She is a graduate of the Australian Institute of Company Directors.
Sue is a Non Executive Director on the CPL (Choice Passion Life previously Cerebral Palsy League) Board and a member of the CPL Finance and Risk committee.
