Working together to deliver better care

We're joining forces with our esteemed partners across the Parkville hospital precinct to deliver better care.
As of today, Oral Health Victoria (formerly Dental Health Services Victoria) has officially joined the Parkville Local Health Service Network (LHSN). Together with our network partners, we are going to shape a more connected health system. One that delivers better outcomes for patients and communities.
The Networks group health services within a geographical region and are responsible for supporting collaborative care for their community, as close to home as possible.
Oral Health Victoria is in the Parkville Precinct and is partnered with:
- Peter MacCallum Cancer Centre
- Parkville Youth Mental Health and Wellness Service
- The Royal Children’s Hospital
- The Royal Melbourne Hospital
- The Royal Victorian Eye and Ear Hospital, and
- The Royal Women’s Hospital.
By working across the Network, our health services will be able to escalate your care to a larger or more specialist hospital if required and bring you closer home for your ongoing care and recovery.
You will still be able to access all the health services you value most – but know that the Networks are working together to deliver better care for you.
We’re looking forward to working closely with our Parkville partners to deliver on the shared priorities of the network. This is a chance to amplify what each organisation does best, while building a more connected, equitable and high-performing health system for all Victorians. We’ll keep you updated as the work of the Parkville LHSN progresses.
More information about the Networks can be found on the Department of Health website.
